The couple were devastated after the demise of their son but God blessed them with another son last year, but as the saying goes a son can never be replaced.

D’banj who is yet to get over the sudden demise of his son took to his Instagram page to remember him. He posted saying how hard it is for him still when he taught everything will get back to normal with time.

According to him, the memories of his son’s demise are so fresh even though he and his family have been through a lot since his death, adding that upon all this he’s grateful he can be a source of hope to anyone going through a hard time.

He therefore encouraged those going through hard times to remain strong and know that they can become better and even turn their pain into motivation to motivate others.

He wrote “For the first time in 21 months I slept in my room. I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh and although my family and I have been through so much this time, I woke up this morning with a grateful heart knowing that I can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through a hard time during this pandemic or any personal issue…Just know that tomorrow can be better and you can turn your pain into motivation. Stay strong“
