LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The band Tonic is preparing their latest album and will be hitting the road for a summer tour after an 6-year hiatus.

According to Billboard, band members Emerson Hart, Jeff Russo and Dan Lavery all pitched in to write the eponymously named "Tonic" which is set to drop May 4th on 429 Records.

Details on the tour are still being hammered out but the band is planning on being on the road all summer and are open to the idea of support acts or package opportunities.

"We'll probably go back to slugging in clubs and small theaters and stuff like that," Emerson told Billboard. "It's always better to go out with friends; that makes it more fun," Hart notes. "But we're still able to do it on our own, too. The fact it's been over 12, 13 years now and we're still able to make a living doing this, it's just amazing." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
